Motivation Monday



The pain doesn’t register at first.

The start sequence, the high 10, 15, 20 that follow…your body can handle that. You’re ready for that.

It’s the 800 meters you’ve got left that will test your training, your spirit, your will.

But the pain won’t stop until you stop, and you can. not. stop.

(This is rowing. We don’t take time-outs.)

Your crew is depending on you to get over the line.

When your lungsĀ are shredded, sit up and breathe.

When your legs are burning, find just 1% more.


When your mind tells you to quit?

That’s when you row with your heart.
